EdgedHost.com Hosting Terms of Service

In order to use EdgedHost.com's web hosting services, you are required to fully understand these terms of service. Failing to abide by these rules will result in an account suspension or termination.

Prohibited Content

The following is a list of prohibited content which should not at any time be found on any hosting accounts.
  • • Fraudulent or Threatening Content
  • • Forgery, Impersonation, or Copyright Infringements
  • • Unsolicited Content
  • • Proxy Hosting
  • • Warez of ANY type and links to Warez
  • • Viruses and/or Phishing sites
  • • IRC Networks (Including all IRC Material)
  • • Peer to Peer software
  • • Hate or Harassment sites
  • • Nulled scripts ("I was testing it out" is not good enough. No nulled scripts PERIOD!)
  • • Racism and/or Nazi forward organizations
  • • Adult Content/Child pornography
  • • Rapidleech & Torrentflux or similar scripts that harm the server

Valid Information

Please make sure that any information provided by you is valid and up to date. All of our hosting notifications are sent via email. We will terminate your hosting account if any invalid or out of date information is found.

Active Website

Your site must have an index page uploaded within 14 days that replaces the default index.html. Your website must be be active - it is either receiving 'hits' or is being updated/posted to.
Sites that either receive no hits or are not updated over a period of 60 days will be considered 'inactive' and may be removed by EdgedHost.com. Note* This rule only applies to free & post2host hosting. Paid hosting accounts will remain active as long as the bills are paid.

Gateway Website

You may not set up a "gateway" site on the EdgedHost.com free services. A "gateway" site is one which serves only as an entrance to the actual site not hosted by EdgedHost.com.

Paid Softwares

You must provide ownership of any paid software such as vBulletin forum software before uploading it to your website. If a paid software is found without prior validation, the account will be terminated immediately.

Free & Post2Host Forum Spam

We do not take forum posting spam lightly. We are constantly going through our forum posts to remove any spam found. Forum posts required for hosting must be made within the same month.

99% Uptime Gurantee

We will try to keep our promise. However, there will be some cases where the downtime is not within our control. In such in events, clients will be notified as soon as possible.

Payment & Refund Policy

We only accept payment via Paypal. All payment invoices are reccuring via our billing software. If payment passes due date by 3 days, you account will be suspended and issued a late fee of $5.00 USD, which is non-refundable. We will only issue you a full refund if none of our terms have been violated and no late fees have been incurred.

I understand that violating ANY of these terms above, my account will be suspended or terminated without prior notification.
